Mix 1/4 cup brown sugar, white vinegar, balsamic vinegar, oil, cumin, curry powder, salt, and black pepper together in a large bowl. Add chicken and toss to coat.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Transfer chicken to the skillet; brown on both sides, about 10 to 12 minutes.
