Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Bake in the preheated oven until golden and tops spring back when lightly pressed, 8 to 12 minutes.

Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Butter 6 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.

Combine white sugar and apple pie spice in a small bowl; roll dough pieces in mixture to coat.
Step 4
Divide dough pieces between the prepared muffin cups.
Step 5
Combine brown sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Allow mixture to boil until sugar is completely dissolved, 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 6
Spoon mixture over dough pieces.
