One Pot Tortellini Bake

This main dish comes together in under an hour and the best part, it cooks in one pot. Serve with crusty garlic bread and a nice green salad if desired.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Set a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until brown and crumbly, 5 to 10 minutes. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and granulated garlic; mix to combine.
Step 2
Pour in diced tomatoes with all the liquid. Add tortellini. Pour in red wine, water, and marinara sauce; stir until well combined.
Step 3
Mix in diced cream cheese and reduce heat to low. Cook until tortellini are cooked through, about 15 minutes. Stir to blend cream cheese with the sauce.
Step 4
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375 degrees C (190 degrees C).
Step 5
Turn off the heat off and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the surface of the pasta dish.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven uncovered until cheese is melted and golden-brown, about 15 minutes. Serve immediately.

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup Cabernet Sauvignon (or other dry red wine)
  • 1 (16 ounce) package tortellini
