These pan-fried cheeseburgers seasoned with Worcestershire sauce are made with caramelized onions and sharp Cheddar cheese and served on brioche buns.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Place ground beef in a bowl; season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly; shape into 3 balls and set aside.
Step 2
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onion; cook until starts to brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Add 3 ground beef balls to the same skillet; flatten with a cast-iron press or a heavy spatula. Divide and place onions on top of patties; cook 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3
Carefully flip patties over so onions are now on the bottom, press again. Top each patty with 1 slice Cheddar cheese; cook until cheese is melted and burgers have reached desired doneness, 3 to 4 minutes. Serve on brioche buns.
