This refreshing peach and lavender sorbet is great for cleansing the palate after a heavy meal. Although it's mostly fruit, it tastes rather rich.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Place peaches and sugar in a blender or food processor and purée until smooth; transfer to a large bowl. Stir in lavender blossoms until incorporated. Let stand at room temperature for 2 hours.
Step 2
Stir in water and lemon juice until well combined. Place in the refrigerator until cold, about 2 hours.
Step 3
Process mixture in a 6-quart ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer.
