Strawberry Pie I

For this unique recipe, marshmallows are first melted in milk, and then strawberries are stirred into the creamy mixture. This wonderful concoction is then folded into freshly whipped cream and spooned into a baked pie shell. Chill for six hours before serving.

Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
• 24 marshmallows
• 1 (10 ounce) package frozen strawberries, thawed and pureed

Recipe Instructions

Step 1

In a saucepan, stir marshmallows with milk over low heat until marshmallows are dissolved.

Step 2

Stir strawberries into the melted marshmallows. In a medium bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Fold whipped cream into the marshmallow mixture.

Step 3

Spoon filling into pie shell, and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours. Serve cold.
