I received this easy, no-bake recipe 30 years ago, and I have yet to taste a better rum ball! It is best made with 151 proof rum (buy a smaller bottle so as not to spend so much) and Oreo® cookies, with the cream scraped out. The Oreo cookie crumbs make the best tasting chocolate wafer crumbs. Enjoy!

Recipe Instructions
Step 1
Combine chocolate wafer crumbs, confectioners' sugar, pecans, corn syrup, and 1/4 cup rum in a bowl. Mix with your hands until ingredients are well combined; mixture will be stiff and sticky.
Step 2
Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls. Dip each ball in remaining rum and roll in coconut flakes.
Step 3
Cover and refrigerate until firm, 8 hours to overnight. Roll in more coconut just before serving, if desired.
