Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C). Cook macaroni in a large saucepan according to package directions for al dente pasta. Rinse under cold water. Drain well.
Step 2
Melt butter in the same saucepan on medium heat. Sprinkle with flour, ground mustard, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Cook, stirring until well blended, about 2 minutes. Gradually stir in milk. Continue cooking, stirring constantly until sauce begins to thickens, about 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Add macaroni. Toss gently to coat. Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Mix panko and paprika. Sprinkle evenly over top.
Step 4
Bake until bubbly and golden brown on top, 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Paprika
  • 1.5 cups panko bread crumbs
