Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Bake on the lower shelf in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

Make crust: Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt into a medium bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry cutter or 2 knives. Add boiling water and stir until dough forms a ball. Divide dough in half and roll out 2 crusts on a floured work surface. Lay 1 crust into a 9-inch pie plate.

Prepare filling: Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Mix with berries until evenly coated.

Place filling in unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle with lemon juice, then dot with butter. Fit with top crust and seal the edges.
