Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Heat water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, discard cinnamon sticks, and bring liquid to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Pour cooled liquid into a pitcher and add wine, apple juice, apple brandy, cranberry juice, and cinnamon schnapps. Add apples and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.
Step 3
Add ginger ale for slight carbonation just before serving.

  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup apple juice
  • 2 fluid ounces cranberry juice
  • 2 medium apples - peeled, cored and chopped
  • 4 (2 inch) sticks cinnamon
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle Pinot Grigio wine
  • 3 fluid ounces apple brandy
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon schnapps
  • 8 fluid ounces ginger ale, or to taste
