Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Mix honey, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, ginger, and garlic together in a shallow dish. Season fish fillets with salt and pepper; place them skin-side down in the dish with marinade. Cover, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove fish fillets, reserving marinade. Fry fish for 4 to 6 minutes on each side, turning only once, until fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove fillets to a serving platter and keep warm.
Step 3
Pour reserved marinade into the skillet; simmer over medium heat until reduced to a glaze consistently. Spoon glaze over fish, and serve immediately.
