Nutty Cream Cheese Frosting

For those who can't get enough nuts. Excellent on applesauce, pumpkin and carrot cakes.

• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
• ¼ cup butter, softened

Step 1

Beat softened butter and cream cheese together in a large bowl until well blended.

Step 2

Beat in confectioners' sugar until cream; add chopped pecans. Spread on cooled cake.
