Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir until very lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Add baby bok choy and chicken broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer; cook until baby bok choy are tender, about 6 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
