I was home alone one night and decided to make a package of ramen noodles. Well, my creative side took over and I started adding different ingredients to the pot. This literally took 10 minutes and it is so spicy and satisfying. Add whatever Asian flavors you like!

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in jalapeno; cook for 2 minutes. Add ramen noodles with seasoning packet and mushrooms. Cook until noodles are tender, about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Ladle noodle mixture into a bowl; garnish with lime juice, green onion, cilantro, garlic chile paste, and sesame oil.

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • ⅛ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro leaves
  • 1 (3 ounce) package chicken-flavored ramen noodles
  • ½ jalapeno pepper, very thinly sliced
  • 2 mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 3 wedges lime, juiced
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic chile paste
